The Venuses (More or less completed)

Species Name: Venus

Species Characteristics: Venuses are large Venus Fly Traps that have the thinking capabilities as a human. They are carnivourus, and have the power to regrow vegetation (given enough energy). They walk using their roots. They are an alien species, and were forced to move out of their planet because the planet was freezing. They moved to lucraneon and shared the planet with the Hets with good negotiations. Giving Lucraneon vegetaton, and in return the Hets gave the Venuses land to stay. Venuses can stay very still and attack only when provoked. They need the sun, however they have created a pill that can let them go far away from the sun for 6 hours. The Hets are currently looking up how to create the pill with more time. None of the Venuses are picky eaters, they eat whatever type of meat they can find. They enjoy eating bugs most.

Abilities:
Venuses have the power to grow vegetation in an environment suitable enough. They can create poisonous vines from their "stems" and use it to lash out at people. They can also spit fireballs, however doing this too often is not good for their body. This technique is usually used for higher rankd Venuses, and top ranks can spit flamethrowers for a short amount of time. Their bite is deadly, and also sends out toxins if the wound is deep enough. They can also spit out large amounts of toxic, and they prefer to use this ability because it does not harm their body at all. Because of these spitting abilities, the Hets use Venuses as cannons to enter a species body quickly. Toxic smoke can be extinguished from it's body. This technique is not as powerful as the toxic goo, but harmful enough to kill. Their famous technique is spitting toxic goo onto their target and use a devastating flamethrower on the target. The toxic goo is highly flammable, and anyone caught in it will be burnt to a crisp. They can also spit out seeds that explode in 3 seconds, they call this technique seed bombing.
High leveled Venuses can neutrilize electricity.

Backstory:
The Venuses were not formed until later on. Venuses were born in a distant planet (Het researchers look for evidence from time to time) and have lived there until they could not survive due to the cold weather. They quickly went into their spaceships and have looked for territory to lvie on. After passing through many planets (Earth included), they redevelopped their ships and moved on. Earth was out of the question since, while they were tasty looking, they had weapons that the Venuses couldn't match at the time (abilities were still being discovered). Finally, they found a planet in the Centriole system that worked. They negotiated with the Hets, and now share the planet. These two species have worked well together.

The Venuses do not have a military strategy, as they have never engaged in war before and if they do, they intend to wing it. They do not need ranks, however more experienced Venuses will have better abilities then other Venuses.

A rare parasite in Somerset can make a Venus grow spots. If the parasite makes contact with a Venus and bites into it, the Venus will have the ability to breath fire very easily. While this may seem harmless, when the spots disappear the Venus will start to wilt (will be turned to ashes in 3 days), and can only be cured inside of a special greenhouses on Lucraneon. As it is wilting, the Venus can no longer breathe fire until cured. This rare parasite has been caught and bred for any future uses in battles.
