3000 A.D.

The year is 3000 A.D. and the humans are but one species of many in the universe. Create your own alien species and conquer or save the universe, the fate of the universe, is in your hands (which are probably dirty and unwashed but ok)

Each planet has a number for each. I'm not trying to restrict the role-playing aspect of this forum, but I want to tack a few vague numbers to each planet to discourage players from doing ridiculous stuff. For each of these, you can go from level 10 (earth today) to level 100 (max).

Capacities:
Agricultural - each level means you can support 1 billion more people
Commercial - lets you trade more stuff with others and yourself. You can't ship trillions of tons of metal around the galaxy if your Commercial Capacity is 1.
Industrial - allows you to build cooler ships and improve your capacities, infastructure and production(to some extent)
Scientific - allows you to reasearch flying robot Pokemon

Infrastructure:
Military - determines the number of ships and troops you can station on a planet
Civilian - determines the amount of capacity you can have. 20 Civilian infra. means you can have 20 of each type of capacity

Production:
Feul - it's for your hive-minds and super-ships. enough said
Energy - supports your Infrastructure, have too little and you can't build your lazors.
Metal - turn it into giant LAZOR CANNONZZZ!!!
Crystal - generic resource #2 (all the resources in life that can't be classified as "metal")

This is the thing I talked about today. yes/no? discuss and give suggestions to improve.

Yes I agree that you shouldn't be able to have 100 trillion people (nudge, wink) on a single planet and all those other boundaries, they make a lot of sense, but of course not all of them can apply to Everyone. Makes sense though.

Please refrain however from using vulgarities in explanations.

Yes, the numbers are stuck to the planets, but it really depends on the species wether you use them or not. If somebody chose to RP a very primitive civilization that still uses sticks as swords, I don't think they would want anything to do with Industrial Capacity.

So... tell me, how would you incorporate these into the registration process, why do you think this would be useful?

Should it be used in the registration for planets or should we make a different registration link for the statistics like these ones.

The mods could assign the numbers according to completed planet registrations. If the player says "There are many cities that are capable of heavy industry on my planet" the mod could give a number like 21, if the player says "There is a giant field half the size of my planet that takes care of most of the industry in my empire" then the number could be something like 45.
