The Het and Horde War

Het forces on Lucraneon see Horde ships incoming towards the planet. They set up their turrets from around the world and aim.

Horde ships increase velocity and will be there in approximately 8 hours.

(just so you know, any bug war related posts have been put under the WAR topic in Events)

Horde ships crash land on Lucraneon, purposefully or not is unknow.
Either way, Brawler forms take the lead with sniper forms coming up behing, Viral forms follow suite.

Turrets are aimed toward the horde ship that has crashed landed. Venuses infected by the fire parasite (see encyclopedia for more info) stand by, about to spit flamethrowers. Hets are also at the ready. "Give up, your outnumbered" says Doltame.

"Threats mean nothing to them!" Kaleb yelled over the turrets.

Then, as if from some nightmare, Spores flew out of the ships like shrapnel from a bomb, everywhere they spread, covering a circumference of a kilometer, viral forms poured out like water from a glass, hundreds upon thousands of them, stored mercilessly in the ships.

The Sniper forms take aim, and let loose a huge volley of flesh tearing projectiles, almost blotting out the sun, while brawler forms charge towards the Venuses.

Turrets are fired at the snipers. Ice and lasers are fired towards the horde. The Venuses take a stance and as the brawlers come close they let out a poison gas, attempting to poison the brawlers. They then spit fireballs at them. Sub-Hets arrive and attempt to enter the horde's brain. Other Hets try to drown the horde inside their own body, and try to put their own poison through.

The Sniper-forms take cover behind their thick hides,
The Brawlers inhale then exhale the poison, seemingly unaffected by it, they catch on fire, but that does not stall them, they then charge as fast as they can at the Venuses, while still on fire and tackle as many down as they can.

All Infection-forms entered burst as the Sub-Hets enter them, The Brawler formes are too on fire for any hets to enter, and the sniper forms are protected by their hides.

Then, several dozen Chaser-Forms come racing out of the ships, devouring anything in their path, and jumping for the turrets, climbing into the circuitry.


The greater part of infection-forms that were absorbed by Hets began piecing for their nervous system. And injecting anesthesia.


News from the rebel base on Luma, the landing pad for diplomatic purposes has been completed, and messages have been sent to any listeners.

Theta base is on the way to it's completion, ETC is 2 days.

Large assault on Bravo base is commencing.

"Wake up soldier!" Sergeant Harvard shouted as he kicked his new recruit awake.
"Sir yes sir" he said as he woke up from his hard rest, "Well you're just in time for hell and a half everybody!" The sergeant shouted to his squad, "Glad to see you're awake in time Telmen."
"Always ready to serve sir." "Sorry to cut the formalaties short, but grab your gear, were going to go kill some bugs."

Not surprised that the gas did not work, the Venuses spit out a toxic sludge path up to the brawlers, then set flame to it. The flames immediately reach their target and go up the path in a 2 seconds.

The Sub-Hets, slightly in control, take control of their brain and call off the nervous system.

Hets taking cxntrol of the turret get off and press the self destruct button for any chaser forms close to the turrets. Turrets on higher grounds continue to fire.

(OOC: none of the Horde forms were taken control of Sub-hets, partly because they don't have proper brains)

Any infection forms that affected the nervous system's of the sub-hets have successfully called off their nervous system, cutting their brain from their bodies.

The Brawler forms catch completely on fire and then jump and body slam the greater part of the Venuses and setting them alight, taking some out with them.

All of the Chaser forms that were inside turrets were vaporised in the blasts.


"Get down! grenade!" Private Masuka yelled followed suite by an explosion, "Sir! we can't hold 'em off that much long- Aaughaa! get it off!!" were the last words that Recruit Marcus Telmen heard of him on the comm.

Marcus came up from cover and gave covering fire for Sergeant Harvard, while he ran forward, charging with a chain gun, then he saw something that made his blood curdle; Private Masuka, the friend he grew up with, was running towards him...Infected.... he took the high road and spared his dear friend of the horror, and blew through him with his shotgun.

OOC: good to know then

"This isn't an ordinary brain, we can't control any longer. lets move" calls the main sub-het, and most crawl out. "They should be a bit dazed, we suck their blood now!" They procede to bite in and suck the blood.

The Venuses are alight, but as the fire parasite's poison still linger the good effects in them, the flames aren't very harmful for the instant. They procede to try and eat the Brawlers that hit them, first by injecting a poison then swallowing.

Any Hets caught too close to their own blast are killed.

Sniper-forms send another Salvo towards the Venuses.

Brawler-Forms climb inside Venuses and start tearing away at them from the inside with their incredibly strong muscles.

The Horde's blood flows into the hets, carrying with it hundreds of dormant and undetectable spores.

Chaser forms run through the battle in the direction of their base.

Marcus looks up to see his friend, scattered on the ground and a tear creeps from his eye, he quickly shakes any distractions, and pulls out a firebomb and throws it with all his might towards the incoming enemy, firing with his assault rifle and screaming with a boiling and primitive anger, he wanted to wipe the planet of these evil monstrosities.

As the Venuses see they are about to die, they activate their last resort spontaneous combustion, a part of the fiery parasite's virus.

The Sub-Hets have learned a bit on the spores. Knowing they were risking their lives, they suck the blood dry hoping to kill. They then (hop?) over to the brawler forms and try to bite into them, releasing blood sucked in from the previos horde to overflood the blood flow inside the horde. Most of the brawler forms are now inside a glob of red jelly.

Chaser forms are spotted by Hets, turrets guard the biodome in hopes their labratory may not be entered. "Release the R-5 virus!" a Het Sergeant yells. The virus is released from a in a white smog, then the white smog disappears. "We are immune to the R-5 virus, but hopefully they are not"

The Chaser forms just run straight through the virus and jump onto the biodome, tearing away at it's outer shell.

The First line of brawler forms explode with the venuses, they are huredly replaced by more eager brawlers.

The spores released in the preliminary crash plant in the ground, and some of them start growing into incubation pods, and horde hives.

Kaleb sat diligently in the dome, when suddenly, a pack of horde-chasers crashed onto the window, he ran from the biodome, knowing of the coming horrors. "Somebody give me a gun! Stuff's happening!"

Marcus was tearing through horde flesh and bone, decimating enemy forces with the help of the few remaining spec ops that remained, when an explosion behind him shook the foundations and killed 3 of their men, leaving just him, his sergeant, and two others. He decided now, with his second wind gone, that hope was futile, he yelled to his sergeant to fall back, but his screams very fruitless.

Suddenly, a bunch of vines appear from the dome and grab onto the Horde Chasers. "It doessss not appear that they are affected by chicken pox. Hehehe" Flames are sent trhough the vines, causing a mass fire.
"Over here Kaleb!" a Het yells, and shows him a passage through a door. "Good thing they've only got our food supply biodome. We don't have any guns over here, but the elast we can do is get you to safety. I'll ask one of the Bolrae to hide you"

Brawlers are attacked by Sub-hets who inject the Horde's blood into them, trying to overflow the blood system. The Brawlers are covered in a huge red blob of jelly.

Ice turrets that haven't been used or have been recharged are fired into the incubation pods and horde hives, hoping to freeze them.

10 Cruisers, 3 destroyers and a flagship go above the planet. The cruisers begin to bombard the Horde ships with plasma, heat and mass impact while the other ships begin to plasma bombard the horde on the planet. Unnamedcommanderdudeone relays a single-beam transmission to the Het main base.

"I heard your call. The Nolijeilis are a bit busy, so I figured I'd come help you.

The current hives and pods are frozen, but more still continue to grow.

The injected brawlers are filled with unmeasurable power and anger from the blood injections, they turn berserk ripping anything within it's reach to shreds, Sniper forms send corrosive shots to the blob.

Kaleb heads toward the spot that they are supposed to meet the Bolrae, when suddenly a chaser catches him and pins him to the grounds.

Marcus realized that he was alone, he ran as fast as he could from the horror of it all, when suddenly something caught him on his back, he tried to scream, but nothing came out, he felt a sharp piercing pain in his spinal cord, he then felt a strange gaussy feeling, and fell to the ground, hoping for all his worth that he was dead.

The area in witch the horde put their forces was incinerated, the area was burned, killing every living thing in the area. Necrohemilliae, Het, Human, everything.

Vines quickly grab the chaser "Oh no you don't! Your in a biodome and in nature we are quickest! (they seem to be obssesed with nature). spikes come out the vines, injecting a toxin. Then flames go onto the vines, trying to get the Chaser on fire.

"Your safe Kaleb...I think" says the Het. "But just in case, I'd better send you over to the Bolrae for a while. It's not safe here when we reconstruct. We could bring you back here in a couple od days. How's that?" Meanwhile the Venuses pop out of the ground and look around for any remaining Horde that could've lingered.

There are no longer any Horde residing on Lucraneon, only the odd spore that floats gently in the breeze of the newly freed planet.
